    We are SOOO pumped to welcome Summer Osborne, an award-winning singer-songwriter from St. Louis who entertains audiences throughout the US and Canada with her magical brand of melodic and lyrically potent genre-jumping performances. Her music masterfully amalgamates the human condition, spirituality, truth, love and healing. That is why people everywhere want what she has to give. Love!

    Summer has performed at numerous churches and spiritual centers across traditions — Christian, Pagan, Unity, Unitarian Universalist in the Mid and Northwest US, as well as atheist communities such as Oasis. She also headlines festivals throughout the US and Canada, including the Gaea Goddess Gathering, Heartland Pagan Festival, and Pride Fests. “This is Your Call” (As I Am, 2013) earned her a nomination from the International Music and Entertainment Awards for Best Spiritual Song and won a RightOutTV Music and Video award for Best Song with a Social Message. But it is the title track, “As I Am” (As I Am, 2013) that is regularly healing spirits and being used by therapists and Spiritual Congregations in numerous states. Summer is touring to promote her newest album, Spiritual Revolution.

  • Coffee & Conversation

    Every Saturday morning at 10:30, we host a free Coffee & Conversation with an ever-changing schedule of topics and facilitators.   It’s a great way to expand your mind into topics you may not have spent much time thinking about before and to meet new people as well.    We provide the coffee (and tea) and usually a few munchies and The Tribe provides the conversation.  If you are able to contribute a little to our Good Karma Coffee Donation Fund for the charity of the month while you’re here, all the better.

    January 19:  Combining Art & Nature w/ Dinise Mustain (who creates the most AH-mazing art with plants she grows then presses!)

    January 26:  Author Melisssa Tipton will be talking about the topic of her new book, Living Reiki:  Heal Yourself & Transform Your Life followed by a book-signing from 11:30-12:30!

    February 2:  The Sexuality Spectrum w/ Raven Bren (who will also be leading an open discussion group on Alternative Relationships later that same day from 1-4 pm)

    February 9:  A Conversational Potpourri.  These are some of our favorites.  One Saturday a month, we don’t set any particular topic — we just let folks gather and see what discussion bubbles up!

  • The 3rd Annual St. Pat’s HBS Trivia Night!!

    It’s h-e-r-e!!  (Well, almost.)  Saturday, March 17, 6:30 pm it will be here — the Third Annual HBS Trivia Night.  This is one of the most fun events we do at HBS, so we hope you can join us!  Cost is just $10 apiece.  You can gather your team and register as a table (maximum of 6 to a table) or you can register as an individual and we’ll put you together with others to make up a team.  (Trust us — great new friendships have come out of fighting in the trenches together for a Trivia Championship!)

    We provide non-alcoholic beverages, but you and your team are welcome to bring your own alcoholic versions if you like.  Same with food — cause who can do trivia without yummies to stimulate the brain cells?!  Deb and Cat pick the categories AND make up all the questions — and while the staff CAN play, they have not been privy to either.  Both are closely guarded secrets here at HBS — kept under lock and key until the grand reveal on St. Paddy’s Day.
